Bio

Martha Sanchez’ makeup career launched as a self taught artist who worked behind luxury department store counters for brands such as Shiseido, Estée Lauder and MAC. Her success in bolstering sales and her skill in makeup application earned her prestigious awards such as Beauty Advisor of the Year. 

Ms. Sanchez earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA in English Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing & Poetry. She studied abroad in London and in Korea, and thereafter landed a coveted national training position with cosmetic giant, L’Oréal USA. 

As a National Trainer, Martha travelled across the United States and experienced tremendous success and satisfaction as she learned about the corporate side of the beauty industry.  

After years in corporate, a company wide layoff ushered Ms Sanchez into  her next adventure: Professional Makeup Artistry. 

Martha earned a Masters Program Diploma from Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles, CA where she won first place in her makeup application final,  and graduated top of her class. It is here where Ms. Sanchez would kick off her career in TV and Film, and has since worked on production sets as a Professional Makeup Artist. 

Martha believes that no journey is ever linear and even a chosen career with great benefits and satisfaction requires patience, hard work and understanding. 

In the aftermath of the pandemic, she learned the value and importance of taking care and being kind to yourself,  is far greater than any paycheck.
